P.S.

Lisa and I finished packing up the Bauman booth around 6 P.M. Sunday night, went home, ordered pizza, and fell asleep around 8:30. I woke up around 2:30 (A.M.) and spent most of yesterday in a zombified state. Last night's sleep schedule was a bit more normal, which is good. Although it won't actually be published until sometime next summer, HarperCollins has started preparing the trade paperback edition of Bad Monkeys; it's going to be part of their "P.S." line, which means I've got to come up with about 5,000 words of extra material (expanded About the Author section, FAQ, etc.) for the back of the book. Should be fun, but I'll do a much better job if I'm awake.

So now books are like DVDs? You have to buy every edition to get the latest bonus features? Great. (And yeah, the obsessive compulsive media collector in me will do just that... It will be like in that horrible Mel Gibson movie where he's been brainwashed to buy a copy of Catcher in the Rye every time he walks past a bookstore...) :P

Hi,

If you want help (or to try to use the Bookslut interview or an expanded version more geared to Bad Monkeys), it's probably do-able.

Best,
Geoffrey

Geoff, thanks for the offer, but I really don't anticipate any problems. Between Bookslut and the other interviews I've done, and the many post-reading Q&A sessions, I certainly don't lack for practice in talking about the book...
