Well that was kind of cute

Timer hits :00, hesitates for a moment, then pops up the message "In Stores Now!"

Goodnight all.

Congratulations
...while I am still waiting for German amazon to ship my copy to me (and I can only vageuly hope I won't be waiting for too long!), congratulations on and best wishes for your 'new one' :)

The only (tiny) sad thing about publication date having arrived: waiting for the successor effectively starts now!

But before going ahead and asking about ideas and plans for always more, always new (and you know it won't be long before people come asking): thanks for new reading fodder!

p.s. no one has scanned the whole thing and posted it to the internet, have they?

If they have, it hasn't made the news yet. But you'd probably have to check with the NSA to know for sure.

Congratulations! My copy should be arriving with today's mail, and I can't wait.

Are there any San Francisco readings/book signings in the works? I have a few first edition books waiting to meet you...

Nothing yet, but if you know of an SF bookstore that would like to have me (particularly one that might be willing to share the travel costs with HarperCollins), you can have them get in touch with my Harper publicist, Rachel Elinsky, and try and work something out. That's how the Vancouver appearance got scheduled.
